Meredith Sandland

Meredith Sandland has created and driven disruptive growth at both Fortune 100 and start-up companies.  She has spent a decade navigating changing consumer demands and real estate environments for restaurants. 

As Chief Development Officer at Taco Bell, Meredith reignited unit growth after the 2008-2009 recession to build 1000+ Taco Bells and add over $1 billion in sales to the brand. 

As Chief Operating Officer at Kitchen United, Meredith created the business model, raised two rounds of capital, and was the public face of this Google Ventures-backed Ghost Kitchen start-up. 

Over the last three years, Meredith has met with every major restaurant company, food-tech company, real estate company, and VC investor who is exploring the online food revolution.  She is a sought-after speaker and consultant.

Bernadette Heier is the Managing Editor at Food On Demand. She brings with her years of prior experience as a multi-media journalist in the broadcast industry. Her current role consists of helping lead the editorial direction for the Food On Demand publication, creating content that covers the intersection of food, technology and mobility. She also helps build the company’s annual conference in Las Vegas and hosts various panels, virtual events, and Food On Demand’s podcast.

Deborah Matteliano

Deborah Matteliano serves as the Global Head of Restaurants for AWS. She spends most of the time advising executives at Quick Service Restaurants, Delivery Marketplces, and Restaurant Technology brands on deploying the cloud to power the latest AI use-cases. Prior to AWS, Deborah was an early leader of the Uber Eats marketplace, where she scaled restaurant technologies globally. She has held leadership roles in sales, marketing, and technical business development and enjoys working at the intersection of food innovation and technology. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Cornell Johnson School of Management.

Olga Lopategui

After 15 years in brand marketing and international franchise marketing at Pizza Hut, KFC, and TGI Fridays, Olga noticed that restaurant chains were getting proficient at collecting customer data, yet the skill of using that data for marketing seemed to be lacking in many organizations.  Restaurant Loyalty Specialists, a boutique loyalty consulting firm, was founded right then.  

We offer expertise in Loyalty and CRM for restaurant chains. The key principle is simple: find out what your guests already like, then give them more of that - at scale - to drive sales. Our clients range from 20 to over 800 locations. We work with any modern loyalty and CRM platforms, although most clients utilize Punchh, Paytronix, or Personica. 

Olga was born in Moscow, Russia, and has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, and the US throughout her career. She holds a Harvard MBA and a Georgetown LLM.
